Welcome to my Substack newsletter! My name is Sydney and I'm a passionate film lover and YouTuber. On my channel, I tell captivating stories about classic movies, film noir, horror, and obscure and overlooked films that deserve some attention and love. I also explore the lives of the movie stars and the studio system that brought these films to life and examine the social and cultural landscape that shaped their creation.

I started this newsletter as a way to connect with my audience and provide exclusive content that isn't available on my channel. Through this newsletter, I'll be sharing my thoughts on new and classic films, telling stories from the history of Hollywood, sharing behind-the-scenes stories about my videos, and highlighting lesser-known films that I think deserve more attention.
